Colony of Artists 2025 - Thank You!

Hello friends.

What a weekend it was!

Filled with conversations, curious questions, true connections, stories behind artists and visitors alike.

I cannot stress enough how important it is what we are experiencing during events like this. And as this time I went to visit other busy bees in the colonies, I’ve felt it. I’ve felt the energy of a beehive. Hundreds of busy little bees making what they love, who once a year are hosting other bees, who are interested what they are doing brought by the same creative energy.

In a world, where amount of emoticons under a photo can decide about someone’s life, we need to see the real value of humans’ interactions. This is the weapon we have to use.

This year we’ve welcomed you in new Mud Station Pottery, where you could have a sneak peak into sgraffito master class with Jo Morgan. We were surrounded by fascinating dark magic creatures from DragonElla on one side, and gentle, flowery artworks from Richa Goel Connor, perfectly finished by stickers from Nexialist.

Not mentioning the amount of the fury friends I’ve met on that day. I met my friends, co-workers and people totally strange, but with whom we had a very interesting exchange like we have known them for years.

See you at COA2026!
